A sell signal is indicated from the Simple Moving Average indicator and that is by giving us buy signal. GBP/USD has dropped below the 100 Simple Moving Average and the 50 SMA. Moreover, the Relative Strength Index and momentum have turned down – all bearish signs.

Initial support awaits at 1.2660, which was the low today. It is followed by 1.2640 which was a support line early in June, and then by 1.26010 which was a stepping stone on the way up. The four-month low of 1.2558 is next.

Some resistance awaits at the round number of 1.2700 which held GBP/USD down in recent hours and also earlier this week. Substantial resistance awaits at 1.2765, which was the peak level last week and was challenged on Wednesday. The next lines to watch are 1.2815, which was a swing high in May and 1.2870, which was the low point in April.

bearish trend seems to be taking place on the GBPUSD pair and that’s according to the green color shown by the Bollinger Bands indicator determining by that the main market direction. A sell signal is indicated from the Simple Moving Average indicator and that is by giving us buy signal. This pair can continue bearish trend today and there is possible chance price will move to down side .

Monday data on the Manufacturing PMI in the UK showed a slight increase in June instead of decline: from 54.3 to 54.4 points.
On Tuesday, investors expect the publication of PMI Construction Index in the UK. In June, the indicator may decline from 52.5 to 52.0, which will put pressure on GBP. This week, investors will also focus on the speech of the head of the Bank of England Mark Carney (July 5) and the following cabinet meeting on the issue of Brexit at the end of the week.

MACD histogram is slightly growing keeping a weak buy signal (located above the signal line).
