damn talk about good luck. had a feeling it would try to lick the lwmas before continuing. SL moved to 1.15266. One thing to note is that stochs on H1 are almost bottomed out, and also it's close to touching the lwmas so a proper bounce (not the one I was anticipating at 1529/1523) could come in play.

if my current short fails I will wait for H1 to close below Ata's lwmas first as a confirmation for further drop before shorting a pullback. We're nearing a bounce level so maybe I'll try buying near 1510/1505 with stops at 1497.

EUR/USD is looking south with a flag breakdown on the technical charts.
Weak German PMI would underscore the need for fresh ECB stimulus.
EUR/USD closed well below 1.1204 on Tuesday, confirming a bear flag breakdown, a continuation pattern which often accelerates the preceding bearish move.

The breakdown has created a room for a drop to fresh 2019 lows below 1.1107 (May 23 low). Put simply, the common currency is on the defensive ahead of the release of the key preliminary data releases across Europe.

The preliminary German purchasing managers' index (PMI), scheduled for release at 07:30 GMT, is expected to show the manufacturing activity contracted for the seventh straight month in July.

The Eurozone PMI is also forecasted to remain unchanged at 47.6, i.e. in contraction territory (below 50).

The EUR could drop to 1.1107, as suggested by the flag breakdown, if the German PMI matches or prints well below estimates, bolstering the case for a European Central Bank rate cut.

Currently, markets are pricing a 10 basis point deposit rate cut in September. Also, many, including Fitch Ratings, believe the central bank would restart its quantitative easing program in the near future.

The ECB is expected to keep rates unchanged on Thursday and send out a strong dovish signal, setting the stage for a rate cut in September.

All-in-all the path of least resistance for the EUR is to the downside and a big beat on both the German and Eurozone PMIs is needed to put a floor under the common currency ahead of Thursday's ECB rate decision.

EUR/USD has been unable to stop falling – and there is no respite in sight. There are three reasons for the fall.
EUR/USD has been trading above an uptrend support line for over a month – until it has been broken decisively in recent days. The currency pair initially dipped lower, but the move turned into a total meltdown.

EUR/USD may experience a temporary bounce due to oversold conditions – the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is below 30 – indicating oversold conditions. Nevertheless, it is suffering from considerable downside momentum and trades below the 50, 100, and 200 Simple Moving Averages.

Some support awaits at 1.1120, which has supported it in late May. The next cushion is critical – 1.1107 is the 2019 trough and the lowest since 2017. A breakdown may open the gates to 1.1025 and 1.0900.

Weak resistance awaits at 1.1145 which has provided support recently and capped EUR/USD in late May. Further up, 1.1180 is where the now-broken uptrend support line was formed. It is closely followed by 1.1195 which was a swing low in mid-July, and by 1.1240 which separated ranges earlier this month.

Hello friends, Good Afternoon.

How are you all doing this period? I hope fine and good. I decided to close all my trade positions to $26 with some minimal loss to recover as this is done to allow safety of bonus.

I still have bearish bias and sentiment the market but with the new prime minister of UK, Johnson Boris news then there should be some cushion effects on the this which is making it looks as if it's will move well.

Therefore, I have this technical setup in my view that EUR/USD going to down side.
