I am a short time trader so i like to use M30 and H1 time frame to trade in forex. I don't like forex scalping trading system because forex scalping is a gambling it's not a trend. So trade in forex with your own opinion.

In my opinion, it depends on the merchant's point of view. If the trader is a scalper then
he follows the M1 or M5 chart and if the trader is day trading then he follows H1 or H4, if the trader
swing trading then he follows the M15 or M30 and D1 or M1 follow if the trader trading as a trading position.

In forex depends on your trading style and on your capital level. Some junior trader who have less capital they follow the M5 M15 to enter in trade and some senior who have enough capital and experience they follow H1 and above. If you have market knowledge then you can trade in any style and on every trend.

while for the daily traders, they prefer to see the trend in h4 or daily, and entry in the M15 or h1
