thw worst time of trading is when there are g8 meeting, economic meeting, or ecnomic summit. that's when everybody are waiting for the result of the meeting. Then narket will move very choppy when someone important making a speech about country's condition or global economic. That's include president of IMF.

well my worst trading was in 2010 mids.
there was a big break out and the price dropped almost 700pips a day.
at that time i didnt give stop loss and my entire equity which was earned for 4months got 0 in just a day.
i consider it as worst.

Banks usually close during the period for few days ... During this period, there is less price flunctuations which will not yield much profit ... in short on the major festivals people choose the withdraw the capital and the overall market growth is very slow.

it's not much like that , there are days where the volatility of the market is very low , as explained by anytime. during these days like festival days , we may not get expected result as the market won't move much and mostly everyone in the market choose to stay out in such conditions . after all it's the price movement that makes us profit if it's low we won't get much profit .

How do you know the days that volatility is very low? Is it because of the price movement of the market? or because you just decide about it in volatility?

i think each session is good if you know how to trade it. sometimes people say that the asian market is quiet and those who know how to deal with it says that this is good because there is no sudden drop or jump on the market and therefore it is easily predictable.
for me personally though, i only trade when there is a signal from my trading strategy. i don't want to enter the market if i don't have any good reason for it.

Generally i would say the worst time to trade is when the market has a low volatility. Because it is difficult to identify the direction of the break out from a low volatile market.

I prefer to follow trend when there is news, I think it's easier to follow than trading in sideways condition. I prefer to follow trend when there is news, I think it's easier to follow than trading in sideways condition. Maybe you're scalpers so you don't like trending movement and you prefer to trade in sideways condition.

mere khayal se jab aap kafi din baad forex trading fir se start karte hai, to initial days aapke liye bahut zada mushkil hote hai kyunki apko market ka andaza nahi hota aur na hi pairs ki strength ka pata hota hai mere khaya se in dino trading karna bahut mushkil ho jata hai...aapko aise time me sambhal sambhal kar tardek arna chhaiaye

yeah you are right friend. During vacations, the market is slow. Mostly we see that sometimes the market is slow and sometimes its fast. when the market is closed at Saturday and Sunday then when the market opens on Monday, its a bit slow but after Monday its so fast. Also on Friday its slow when we have three or four hours for trading. But you will notice if you look at the news that sometimes the market is slow and sometimes fast and news are the only things that inform us about it so it's important for traders always to refer to the news while trading.

it depends where you live if you live in east Asia then the night time is the 2nd best time to trade because it is the U.S. session.
but if you live in European zone then the night time is indeed the most quiet time because it is the Asian session.

you can do the trading from Monday to Thursday only. and on Friday, you trade with lot sizes smaller than 10 times that day. because it is possible that the price reversal will not you imagine.

I do not see how the world cup can make the forex currency trading business lose steam and then become less volatile. It is usually the holidays that actually makes forex trading markets to be slow or less volatile.

the worst time to trade forex is outside the time that your trading method specify. each trading strategy is designed to cope with certain market condition so if we trade outside of those market condition we will encounter loss instead of profit.

most of asian traders does not care about bank holidays in uk and usa ,during this days volatility is very low because of that traders have to wait hours to hit take profit or stop.waiting hours in front of computer is sucks .better to avoid this days .how ever many forex brokers send an email containing " holiday trading hours " for traders .

i dont think there is any particular day called as worst or best day, each week and each day is different.one monday will be full of profits and next monday will be full of loss, So it depends upon the trader who utilizes d day well and makes the most of it.
