i disagree with you becaus every period you can make money. Its as well as effective to trade behind christmas or other holidays. The only thing is to chnage the tradingstyle you have. if you are using trendtrading in the other time now you must trade like a scalper because the currency pairs are in range or you use a range trading strategy that works for you. The different is: you must only look twice or three times a day at your account.

I agree with this opinion. In holidays, there are a few people trade. Therefore, the volume is too small to make the price run. If you want a strong movement in market, you need a large volume. But in these days, the volume is too small.
