i think worst time will be called if your trades under 500 pips floating positions.that means you opened your positions at very wrong time and this is the reason for holding your trades for long time to recover it.
if we are in a floating position minus 500 pips would be a dilemma for us to close or continue to maintain that position in trading .. Should we just take the best decision to make trades to get back with no psychological pressure at that position ..

Is there really a worst time to trade in the forex market? I do not think so. Even when the markets are sleeping and you have done your analysis, you can take a trade and it will go in the direction of your analysis. There is no bad time to trade except during uncertain periods like news events where Central Bank Governors of US, ECB and BOE are making their speeches.

there is certain time when trading is not safe. The worst time of trading is the holiday or in the festival time. on this time banks are closed for a certain time. market price is not going ups and downs so i think we can avoid trading on this time.

i am a trader I think for 5 trading days, there in no worst time, or best. Some time today perhaps best time for us because we take more profit, but not for another.i also think that every moment is very important for us

There was these one time,and its something that really pulled me in getting into forex. I had traded and gained profits and I was a newbie in forex. so I could just enter the trade and leave it on so long as I was to come in the evening and find profits locked in.it was a time when EUR/USD was up to 1.6200it would go up every day. then interest rates came out negative and i dint know they could affect. I was clean sweat

I like the best time, trading in the Asian market is the market is quiet and liquidity is not great news and there are many issues at this time so I like it .. but trading on Friday, I do not like it at all because trading news is unexpected and the price movement ...

i think there are period forex not good in it and if we trade in it we see the market move slowly and make us boring or some times if we trade in the end of week we exit with loss because market no staple so er must choose good time to trade

most traders do not like trading on Monday, also with me. but I will still see opportunities to see the market in Europe and U.S. session. you also have to look at the schedule as "bank holiday". at that time, the market is really slow.

I dont like to trade in high volatile market.. especially on the moment when big news releasing.. because most of the time market move heavily on the sides.. and for this there is a strong chance that you will get a hit by your stop-loss.. For me worse time to trade is mid day IST where i lost most of the time, i try to study till today but not successful but yes early in the morning and around mid night it work for me very well. The best part for me to trade is early in the morning where i earn a little bit. The best to trade is early in the morning and mid night and worse part for me to trade is mid day and evening where i loss most of the time.

I agree trading on the holidays or Christmas is the worst. I would say about a week before and after the holidays. It goes really slow or doesn't move at all.

There is no worst time to trade forex but as during the holiday season and festive season the movements in the markets are very slow,,,

i think there is no worst time if we're trading forex, becaue sometime we get loss so we can make it as a lesson and analyze it so we not to repeat our mistake. if we get profit certainly this is our success story.. we should do it consistently. so there is no worst time in forex trading keep learning and do practice to achieve our goal in the future.

for me or my view the worst time to trade forex is the time when my positions are open and i must have to move away from the trading terminal so we must try to do our our best to open positions during trading when we are 100% sure about trading signals.

Yes i totally convinced with your point of fact that during festival the trader used to take out the capital because the over-all growth of the market is going down with a higher rate. Another important period the trader used to avoid trading when political un-stability is taking place in the country with regular interval of time country law and order situation the trader should stay away from the market trading and during natural calamity like flood, tsunami also affects the money market with a great deal.

I dont like to trade in High Volatile Market.. I know most of the traders are trend following and they like to trade in as much volatile market they can.. But when I tried to trade in volatile market I always caught by my stop-losses.. and when big news release market swing in both direction..

if we are losing the money again and again in forex then we should refrain from the tradings in the market and should go back to demo account for improving the tradings for getting more accurate results of tradings
yes i agree with you sir, we should to learn again in demo after we get loss.
we should change our trading style if has feel bad, but if still confident maybe we can develop again. in demo account we can learn more so we can fix our problem in the past.
My worst trading was when I was able to turn $ 20 into $ 100 a night but after that I was too greedy to make it out,,, really sorry

Worst time to invest in forex is normally when the price is very high. We have the tendency that when the price of forex is increasing to jupm on that which amy cause lose in long run. So be careful

During festival time, lots of people withdraw there money and they try to get rid of already opened trades..
These types of activities during festival season can make market volatile for few time as traders wants to get rid of their deals.
I think it is true that when any big festival come then market face big liquidity crisis as a result it moves very quickly. As a forex trader, you must consider it and avid trade this moment if you not identify the trend.

I think in forex trading there is no day which can be say as worst day. Because if market go to down then we can open sell position and if market go up we can open buy position. That means positive and negative both trends of any day may be profitable for us. But I like to say that all the day night time indian time from 11pm to 3-4 am is the worst time because of not much fluctuating the market this time and we cannot make reasonable profit during this period.

the best days to trade are tuesday wednesday and thursday.. During the starting and ending of week.. There'll not be much movement.. So it is recommended to trade in the middle of the week to earn good profits:) when the markets become busy.. You earn more.. So the market becomes busy at the middle of week... . And the worst time are festival.. Major news event etc..

Theirs no problem in trading at anytime but that's if you know what you are doing. Because its really hard to trade if you don't know the current trend. That's why its important that before we trade we must make sure that we know what we are doing. We must do market analysis first. then we going to trade depends on the result of our analysis.

right post, i think also trader should find a good time to make some analysis depend by strategy they used.
scalper, intraday trader, and swing trader have a each time to trade. choose one of them to trade and dont do all of that because its only worst your time.
before we trade we should have good planning in advance so we will not be any time if we do trade so we also should have a definite schedule for each month

I don't trade on friday. I don't want to say its the worse time but I don't trade on friday. the reason is simple. I withdraw my earnings each friday and I want to have a fresh start on monday so all position that is open on that week will be close on friday. It does not matter if I'm in profit or at loss. I just want to close my position. request payments and hope that I can earn good money. it does not matter if I'm doing it the right away or not.

My first account was made over a year ago I can't say I have 1 year experience but to be specific on the time sI actually focused on trading is over 1 month.
Using real account? At least if you have an account for one year you have 1 year to practice and one 1 year to try to learn more about forex trading. I'm sure if you spend that long reading and learning about forex trading by now you have some how good knowledge how to trade in forex. Its really important that we know how to trade in forex first before we even try to trade in real account. Because theirs no way you can earn good amount in real account if you don't have knowledge how to.

teh worst time is not about day and mounth. but about system and phsycology. we just couldn,t to judge there is bad day. because the fact there is no day is bad. actually we just understand about the day it self. keep our system work. if there is no setup we meet, don't make any trade. easy at all

uknim - You have got a strong point but though I wanna to say that in festival session also there are some other pairs those moves so fast on there session. Pairs are like EURO/United States Dollar, YEN/United States Dollar and Great Britain Pound/Yen. Major pairs never sleep. Specially in festival session we shouldn't follow any robot or any other website to get buy or sell signal to trade. Hmm, we must be more careful on festival session. Though I will not tell you to scalp on these time. Thanks.

During festival time, lots of people withdraw there money and they try to get rid of already opened trades..
These types of activities during festival season can make market volatile for few time as traders wants to get rid of their deals.
I do not understand with this situation, if this is the same as when there are festivals cup euro yesterday and this could make the euro has the ability to go up? maybe it is a festival can make a country's currency movements.

Yes i completely agree with others opinion in this case that we should not trade the opening day of the market also avoid closing day of the market. We also avoid Very hot days like Christmas, Word cup final, Us president election result day etc. THis day is very crucial to get profit. Because the investor are not eager to invest money in this days.

it's not much like that , there are days where the volatility of the market is very low , as explained by anytime. during these days like festival days , we may not get expected result as the market won't move much and mostly everyone in the market choose to stay out in such conditions . after all it's the price movement that makes us profit if it's low we won't get much profit .
In my case, my opinion, even in low volatility market, we can still earn worth pips. As I know, base on my own codition, the lowest volatility market still have their movement price that have enough pips to be scratched. So, up to now, I still believe that every day is best day! There's nothing such as bad or worst day to trade based on market conditon.

That can be true since a bad emotion control can be a disaster for every trade you make. So, better to stay away from your account when you have any problem with you emotion contol that day. And, actually, for me, based on my own case, my worst time to trade is when I feel too overconfidence. This feeling/emotion is my fatal enemy that create my worst time to trade.
i think Worst time is different between chart to chart also between country to country
so trader can know the best and the worst time by practicing so all trader need to time to be professional and take good decision

I see that there is no any time worses while trading. Its is our placements of the positions which may worse. But one time that is fridays closing and monday opening, i think this is the worst times in the forex market. Actually it is not trading times but it is applied for the positions which have opened on friday !!!
