Nice thing, But in my opinion emotions wll get controlled when we do some practice in tarding thats why we see some less emotions play in experienced trader. If we stick to money management rules then emotions will decrease.

i also try some time that i never cross my rules but this not happen.
i cross many time my rules. so i do only one thing whenever i am in emotion i close my trading terminal...

Thats better thing some times when i loss i do same, if we are watching market then mind says to open some more trades to recover loss but its not at all a good idea.

sahi hai trade open karte wakt sl or tp ka use krna chahiye or saat hi money management ko bi dekhna chahiye...but agar hamara margin kam hoga to b sl or tp tools waste hai..sl bi limited pips hoge.....

Yes, no one could trade without emotions, traders could only control their emotion and usually they will use TP, SL and some other
limitation. It's good to limit transaction because if there is no limitation, traders won't stop and it's dangerous if traders didn't want
to stop when it is time to stop trading.

really? I think the calculation of the placement of SL is one of the keys of the MM. because by always placing the SL, you can calculate the loss you suffered during the open position. then if it was you specify, then you play at the level of margin that you will specify.
if the SL is small, then you can use a large margin. vice versa.

I think if we could already have the discipline and clear rules.
for example in the placement of SL and TP at the open position, the emotional factor may be reduced.
but if you still do cut loss, I believe that emotional factors still play an important role.

Brother calculating stop loss is very important in forex trading..
You can not place SL by your own choice..It require lots of studies..You shiuld learn how to set SL and Tp for your deals

I do not know if we can really control our emotions fully. I have come across from everywhere people suggesting different ways to control emotions and how to be looking the other way while we encounter these emotional situations while trading.

My experience suggests that if there is emotions lets face it head on rather than apply some of the stupid suggestions put forward by experts. most traders here do not have deep pockets and the emotions of such traders is different from the one that a well capitalised trader who can afford certain amount of loss but has the money power to wait a little longer to stay in race. this is a fact I had watched helplessly because I am also amongst one of those under-capitalised traders who has to be very careful at every stage of market.

We cannot simply shut off our emotions. May be dead bodies are good at it and not affected by emotions. but all of us traders are living beings, and we will be definitely haunted by our emotions in real-time. If it comes lets be prepared to face it straight and head-on. Lets be realistic when we enter a trade and do not allow things to go out of hand. Probably this is the closest way we can do something worthwhile to tackle the emotional problems. Place trades on achievable results and stick to it.

well it seems that your emotions are trading for you and not your brain. so i would suggest you to stop trading for a while and read some good books on forex or in some good sites. And when you come back open only two positions at a time with a fix lot size. continue it for a month, this will become a habit.

Greed is the result of over confidence and it is more harmful than fear but it has some advantage over fear that at least we try to make something. In fear we will not use full potential of the forex tools and will not give ourselves a chance to get something big.

This is a very good thing to in fact this is a new idea which i like the most. This is like making a checklist with basic points listed in it and with do's and dont's of the trade.Also the best way to control emotions is to follow the list and adhere to it which will automatically set a contro over your emotions.Also you can put Stop Loss and take profit to all your trades based on your analysis.

To control your emotions you must have to remain calm and cool when trading. You must not become too much greedy and coward and remain in the middle of two extremes.

yes real account has no emotions because it is a dummy account where you are nothing to lose you are just gaining their. Personally i prefer to not sit in front of your terminal. When you see chart it will effect your emotion. I don't sit in front of my terminal in bad situation all day long and having good result. In this time i watch TV to cool down.

When you are in the loss it is better to take rest for some time from forex trading and with the fresh mind you can again start the forex trading. But always remember that you have to follow the rules when you trade in the forex market otherwise the same thing happen again.

friend profit and loss is the part of result. our trade will touch any one between both.
