As long as you have done the right market analysis before taking a trade once you take it there is no need for watching over it all the time, just leave it to trade on its own and you will come for your profits later when the trade is already closed and you have cashed in on that particular trade.

Good question sir , if you trade without stop loss then i think it will be better to watch your trades so that when the price goes the other way you can control it , But if you trading is based on good analyzing then
you will have a stop loss to put and take profit to reach and your trade will hit one of them so make the trades that hit take profit more than the ones that hit stop loss and work with good money management.

you do not really need to watch your opened trades all the time especially if you have already specified a take profit and stop loss levels, but if you have the luxury of time to do so it is good and this will help you to understand price movements better and consequently increase your trading experience.
