I think trading would be better off manually, rather than trading with a robot, with our manual trading can control the emotions of greed and mengontool, in order to avoid losses. because as traders we do not want to suffer losses, the robot has no sense in trading

n forex trading if we can earn a good amount of profit then we can also suffer a loss , there is chances of both . The profit is just depend upon how we trade . If we take right decision then we can earn a good profit , if we take wrong decision then we can suffer a loss . So if you want to safeguard yourself from loss then take every decision very carefully , don't be greedy while doing trading , and yeah be happy with your profit which you have earned , don't re-invest , there is chances of loss in re-investmen

Whats greed??? everyone wants to be profitable, so do i and other traders. our target may be different.. you cant say that greed, if your plan is hit then its ok otherwise it would be premature trading.. mistake can be different with respect to the situation commonly it is inability to accept the status quo when market goes wrong.

Dear Shariq...! i think you are wrong in some of your prespectives because market never goes wrong and always their is some faults of trader himself. All results in forex trading business are actually reaction of the actions taken by trader so no one can blame the market for such mistakes. However it is fact that some time market moves unexpectidly because of any natural event or disaster or any other reason and in such conditions no one can calculate or predict therefore it is usually recommended to use stop loss always.

But as per my 3 years experience I want say only one thing that the main reason is lack of knowledge of good money management, so this is the main factor and most of the traders wants to get big profit with in a night and they forget money management.

you're right, i think that's a kind of problem that make trader are loss. i think the all problem are related with trading psychological.
A trader can be discipline though they have good strategy because they dont have good psychology, so sometime they become overytrade and get loss again.

I agree with you almost all the points are valid and I want to add big lot size and over trading in your list. Although both over trading and big lot size are related to greed and poor money management but still if we can avoid both of them we can avoid much loss.
