Its a very good idea to set a daily profit limit and stop trading after achieving your target. I usually set a daily and weekly profit targets. Taking risks in forex is much much necessary as without taking risk we can not survive in this business.

correct we should also determine the daily target, if I may be a target of 5-10% have been satisfied if I do not trade anymore, then just trade again tomorrow. use targets and good management so that we do not over trade and loss.

Today my all positions in Silver are locked with hedging to prevent further draw-down and protect it from MC.
This situation is continuing from last week and i am struggling to save my account now, i hope i will succeed in it.

Silver is a base metals. As you know the world is worry about the debt problems of the europe. Thats why the prices of the base metals is decreasing and also there is selling pressure. So it is better to avoid any moves in silver for this time.

This is the better way to collect the profit when market silence. All pairs move 10 to 15 pips when dull activity and this is the best time to go for scalping. Go on 15M chart and just watch the high and low and then apply the order at the peak of the 15M trace.

I completely agree when using the technique of scalping and we have better understanding on the movement of a pair you can grab a few pips 5-20,.

However i did scalping on silver and got 19 pips profit.

Yeh you may call it as Gambling, nop, but finally i made profit of some pips which is more important for me.
Bu this i did in the direction where i had protection with another open position, if done without precaution then it is a Gambling else trading.

i do the opposite, i never withdraw my money, i use that money to increase my account balance so i can trade with bigger margin, some master said that i did the wrong thing, but i just love doing it

accumulating the profits is a good and right thing to do especially if the equity is low. but the important thing to remember is never to deviate from your plan by trading more lots and taking more risk. newbies have a habit to take more risk once they get some profits
