I also think the same as you because I've been trading in the short term using M5 timeframe and I feel there are too many false signals. I am more inclined to long term trading, I think long term it frees us from the burden of a severe mental, for me personally, after I analyze overall trends, the probability of up / down, ect I will do pending order / instant execution, and then I closed my MT4.

i think that most of the trader is also just choose to use the short term trading only, and just some of them want to trade for the long term, because trading for the long term is also need to spend many time to wait and many trader do not patient on it
