depends to the strategy that you use but to follow the trend you should check the higher time frames and then open position with using the smaller time frames that have same direction with the higher, adn with this you can safe to trade and do not forget to put the relevant target

yes, I agree with you. basically, the TF which we will use to analyze price movements forex trading strategy is based on what kind we use. The scalper usually choose a small TF, while for day traders, swing traders and longterm traders typically use a larger TF

I always use the TF 4H to see medium-term trend. thereafter, I will go into a smaller TF to open a trading position. I usually play in TF 30M as a day trader. it is effective enough for me

for me i think that i always choose the long term trend like 1H and 4H its very useful i guess this is the best trend when you want to earn a lot of profit but you can use also the other short term like 15m and5m to select the entry point this important too

while for the daily traders, they prefer to see the trend in h4 or daily, and entry in the M15 or h1

i think 1hr chart is best chart for both scalping and day trader . because the movements in this chart stable and this help us to identify the true trend in forex . i always trade in 1h chart

Well the thread starter meaning by which trend is that he wants to get opinions on time frame. He means in following trends which time frame should be selected that is best to see trend.
As for the trend you should start from daily then 4hr and then 1hr and preferably trade with the trend no against it.
