Just not for strategies and indicators.. Demo is useful for almost everything.. and via joining demo contest you can even earn big.. Even insta forex gives big amount of money who score high in their monthly contest.. You can also take a look on that..

Yea, Demo trading at 1st stage is required before starting real money trading, so try with virtual $$ is a part of success in trading. Thus I don't think no one can have ability to enter trading without practice in demo account...

Demo trading is 100% must to do. agar koi demo kay bagair trading kerta hay to wo to sirf apnay sath hi zulm kerta hay. agar kisi kay pass bohot sa falto paisa ho, to wo hi demo kay bagair hi live trading per practice karayga, kaykin aesa kerna nae cheay.

No my dear, trading without emotions in demo does not help any trader, rather it causes more problems. As there is no real money involved in demo trading so no trader will get an emotional practice in demo account.

of course, without some experiences about trading and when we did not know about forex, we should try it at demo account...we do not know how long we have to practice at demo account and because every body can learn it with different time, maybe one hours, one day,one week or more...and if we ready to open orders at real account so just open it soon but make a wise decision with open micro or cent account first, this is very important to do and safe the money too

When a trader forms a trading plan and is ready to trade it is important that he back tests his trading plan in demo account for any flaw . It is better to do so as if there is any flaw or strategy is not good then a trader will loose real money in real account so why take risks ? demo account is very helpful i have used a lot of strategies on mini account but i lose much money 10$ 50$ 30$ but i was wrong demo account is the best way to test new strategies without risk of our capital.

No doubt demo account has no fear and no emotions and it is so boring job but in future it helps you to protect your real account from grave loss. Due to demo account we can check our strategies and also money management practice.

Demo account trading is truly a must whether for newbie or for old trader. If you do not trade in demo, then you will not master the forex trading environment sufficiently. I think demo account is only for learning basic thing. If you start practice on your real account then you can learn too quickly then demo account. And demo account has big balance and with this balance you can't feel any pressure on trading.

Newbies dont used stop loss and they just used take profit of 10 pips and when their position goes against them they just wait for days, months, etc for their price and sometimes that not coming and they getting margin call.

I think we can't limited the time we should spent in demo account before we're jumping in to the market, as long as the traders already feel familiar with the platform and confident with the result of their strategy, they can straightly enter the market to get another valuable experiences.

I saw a great trader... who still use demo even after 12 years of forex trade... he told me that when he encountered periodic losses we went back to demo to horn his skill again.. and he only came back when he regain enough confident about trading in real again.. this is a sign of true master.. there are some other traders who have daily limit of winning or losing.. when any of the target meet they stopped their trading in real for that day and start demo trade.. this is why they reached those level..

when i joined forex, i had absolutely no idea what it was, i spent a lot of time learning to trade, and learning to see why the price moves the way it does, for this demo accounts helped me a lot, i was anxious to go live, but then i thought why not get consistent first then i will think of it

No matter how much emotion a trader gets in demo trading, it can not be compared to what he will feel in a live trading account. For instance if a trader is losing money in a demo trade, he may feel bad and want to close the trade but this will only be due to ego or the feeling that he does not wish to be wrong. If however the trade goes pretty bad, he can say well let it go, and I will open a new demo account. He cannot do the same with a real live account.

I always use a demo account as a comparison to enter the market. if a position in a positive trading account, it will open trade in accordance with the position in the demo. but if a negative position in the demo, I would consider the entry against the demo account.

Earning a consistent profit is a difficult job in forex trading just because of our bad habits of greed, over trading, trading big lot size and trading against the trend.
If we do proper demo trading for 4-6 months and learn the basic rules of forex trading and act upon them then there is no reason to fail in Forex.

When we practice in demo account most of the times we do not take it seriously and emotions are not involved because of virtual money we make profits but when we trade from real account it is opposite and emotions are involved so results are in form of losses.

No matter how much emotion a trader gets in demo trading, it can not be compared to what he will feel in a live trading account. For instance if a trader is losing money in a demo trade, he may feel bad and want to close the trade but this will only be due to ego or the feeling that he does not wish to be wrong. If however the trade goes pretty bad, he can say well let it go, and I will open a new demo account. He cannot do the same with a real live account.

demo account is very important especially for us who are new to forex.
but we sometimes lazy to use the demo account because we think if we use the demo account and get the profit we will not get anything, but we do not even think that we will always defeat in forex.
demo account is not meant to limit our advantage, but is used to learn new trading strategies without losing money.

yes, the demo account is very useful for every beginner in forex. i practice in demo account for one month and i don`t want to open a real account now . but i will do that at least after 2 other months. because i want to test all strategies in forex and want to be professional before deposit any money.

I agree with you. But I do not think 2 month is not enough for experiencing all the market conditions. I read several experts advice they do advice us to practice in demo account till we make some consistent profit. This way making consistent profit at least monthly basis, will make us win in Live Forex.

There are certain of trading you can`t jump you have to pass all of them and then you`r trading profitig career start.

in the demo account we can learn a variety of system and trading strategies .... we can find a good system on a demo account .... We can learn how to analyze the pattern of price movements well .....
all trader start trading on demo account and all trader get the knowledge and the experience from demo account because we try many trade on demo without fear from loss but in real we have one chance if we failed we can not keep test other strategies.

Demo account is inalienable part of learning process and without demo I think there is no chance of making profits in real money account, at least at the beginning, except if you are extremely lucky. In demo you definitely develop strategy, learn trading basics which is important, so that in real money account no mistakes because of not knowing you won't make.

One can still do trading without Demo account, but the cost is too much for one to pay. Yes before we understand the real trading and use of the trading software we could have lost thousands of dollars money while learning. so if one is ready for that they can skip Demo trading.

demo account is the best place that the newbie and expert visited for learning and practicing in there and i did it too to make an experiment or just backtest my strategies
but for newbie they should learn and practice with well because usually they make the first mistake at demo account and then they will bring it to the real account and then it becomes big problem in their trading (example : they set the virtual money too big and always feel that they always win with it )
