We all have idea about how risky is forex trade. So without preparing ourselves, jumping to real trade will be too fast. This can be very fatal and we may end of suffering huge loss. We may even get bankrupt. That is why we need to trade with demo accounts first. It will give us perfect education, concepts and experience about the trade so that when we go for the real trade we don't have to panic and lose everything.

I also fall in huge loss for overconfidence. I started demo account but for 10 days only. After 10 days I started real account consequently I have lose about $500. But now I am very cautious. I have learned that I have to save at least my investment. You are right that everyone should give some days even some months for demo account. Otherwise, there is probability to huge lose.

for me i think that must the profit big than the stop loss because if you profit one order and loss one order you are win but if the stop and profit the some points you are zero in your profit and for me i put 40 point for take profit and sometimes i over my profit ans i put 20 in the stop

I think for learning 1 year is enough but you require a lot of time to make experiments of your skills and for few years you still remain in the learning phase when you are trading with various strategies and tools. So 2 to 3 years period gives you good experience.

This post comes after so many other threads on the same topic.. Anyway, you are right, that demmos are useful, if they weren't they wouldn't exist, would they? It's a tool for learning and a tool for preparation. For a beginner it's a must to start with a demo and see how to manage an account,etc.

Because if he starts trading in real before mastering himself in demo then he will just lose money.. It will be just like dumping your money on forex market without gaining anything at all.. So you decide what you wanna do.. Save your money and also making profit from it or just keep losing...

yes demo account is very helpful for learning basic things about forex. I am also learn basic things from demo account. But i did not spend more time on there because i can't feel good practice on demo account. So i create real account and start practice on it.

demo accounts is a must for newbies, it will teach you basics things in forex, like how to open/close position, using an indicators, etc. But the most advantages for newbies in demo, they can get used to the platform itself before deciding to open real accounts.

you're right that the demo account is very useful, even not only for beginners but also for all traders who would conduct an experiment, because however the experiments should be done by using a demo account, it is impossible if you're willing to sacrifice for the real account.

I dont think that demo account have ability to give us perfect education, since it doesnt have most important factor of primary aspect in trading forex: emotion! In demo account, in my case, we can get perfect learning about how to control emotion facing forex market. Sometimes, even management cant good covered by this type of account. So, for learning some aspects in forex demo account is good, but for some factors, it isnt. I prefer mini account/cent account to learn deeply in forex trading. CMIIW.
