Reasons:
Bullish price action patterns on the daily chart. First a pin bar then a bullish engulfing bar
Price is crossing a small but still important pivot zone, the 115.00 area
The support on the daily chart at 113.50 is the bounce place. Multiple bottoms in this area = strong rejection.

EUR / JPY fell in the channel from July highs. Today has rallied slightly and encountered resistance in the upper channel line from the descending movement. It may fall from here and continue the downtrend with the next target at 108.00 lows and look for a new higher medium term low to carve around 110.00 (above 108.00) ahead of the next major upward extension back towards and finally through recent highs at 123.35. In the end, only a sustained break below 110.00 was a concern.

Reasons:
Bullish price action patterns on the daily chart. First a pin bar then a bullish engulfing bar
Price is crossing a small but still important pivot zone, the 115.00 area
The support on the daily chart at 113.50 is the bounce place. Multiple bottoms in this area = strong rejection.

Any setbacks below 110.00 continue to be very well supported by the previous multi-day resistance area from May 2010 to February 2011. Look for a new higher medium term low to carve around 110.00 (above 108.00) ahead of the major ascending extension next back towards and finally through recent highs at 123.35. In the end, only a sustained break below 110.00 was a concern. and On the plus side, above 111.23 will bring a stronger rebound. But anyway, we will remain bearish as long as the resistance at 114.17 holds and expect more downside going forward.
