Short term forex trading or Long term forex trading?

Yes, this is very great results. Its enough me. 200pips per month is still not achieved by me. Because, some days, i caught in reversal and wait for weeks to close that position. Please, anyone share the strategy that give 200 pips per month.

i always select short term strategy, just takes 10 to 15 pips and leave the market as anything can happend in forex market anytime, so be careful

Once again it depends on the trading strategy of a individual if he prefers to do short term trading or long term trading.As some traders prefer to do scalping so they do short term trading and aim at profits of few pips , whereas there are some traders who trade on fundamental analysis and do long term trading and keep their position open for long.So both are good.

Anyhow, for all styles analysis is required. analysis plays vital role in Forex trading. By this, we can know the entry and exit points. In long term, without analysis, some times you want wait for a long to achieve target.

sorry friend i am not agree with...trading chahe short term ho ya long term both need analysis..
difference only one short term need accurate analysis while long term trading need little bit accurate analysis..
entery and exit poin important in both trading type.

the different between long term and short term in trading context depend on period from open position to close, if that period less than 1 day its categorized as short, but if more than 1 day it will categorize long term, what ever time frame their used.

i think i use all type trading. usually i trading in short term and usually in long term. i think in long term are good, because the emotion or psychological are not too influence than trading with short term.

i think short term trading is good enough to whom who really new and want to learn from real trading...long term trading mein jyada anubhav chahiye aur newbie ko long term trading ke stage pe pahochne se pehle short term trading ka anubhav jaruri hai.

Apki bat bilkul theek hy. Long term trading k lye boht sy analysis krny prty hen jis k lye boht sa knowledge and experience hona zarori hy. Long term trading is not suitable for newbies they should do short term.

yes you are right..i fully agree with you. for short term trading need accurate analysis and proper planing.
i try many time for short trading but my analysis not too accurate so i do long term trading. my sl and tp always more then 150pips

i mostly do short term because it helps me making profit faster .... but for shorter trades you require proper calculated analysis...other wise it yoou might go into loss
