Stop loss is very important for Forex trading . it helps us to control our loss and not to lose much . yes sometimes the magenta line hit our stop loss then return to the target so we should calculate it carefully to avoid that.

i think stop loss is very important. because pair fluctuation some time very high and some time fundamental news can change market trend. also trader can mistake for understanding trend. then loss may come very fast, and quity become very low, sometime zero. then only stop loss can save us. so use stop loss for every trading position is better.

Basically stop loss is used for safety of traders. Because all of we know that stop loss is used for reduction of loss limit. Many professional traders also use this strategy to reduce their loss. I think stop loss essential for all traders.

so we have to know the market condition with very well, make a good analysis to put the order at the right track and use SL as the final option to overcome unwanted condition and it means, it is not funny if SL is always touched by the market price..

if you doesnt have any confident to set a reasonable stop loss, then dont set it. And then, see how much you can loss your money in one trade.
stop loss is a must in this business, but in the bigger meaning. We can use cut loss without set stop loss.
cut loss is a solution to avoid loss without set a stop loss, but I rather like to set stop loss.

i dont know why people keep using stop loss the most of them who use stop lose will be the newbies who dont want to lse money so they use stop loss but ask any good trader they will tell you not to use it

A stop loss will help you avoid losing so much, it will act as a guard to avoid more than you can afford to. you can control your losses with your stop loss. they are very helpful.
