its depend upon your trading style if you are doing scalping then short time frame like M5, even M15 best and if you can wait then use H1,H4 to put some trades as per market trend and to earn some profit too i mostly take help from H1,H4 time frame and put trades

yes brother, absolutely to me, I personally do consider that there is no matter of trend is best, if the trend is upward and you are sitting on buy then its good for you and when the trend is in sell and you also sit in the selling position then fruitful for you. a trader must always follow the trend to earn consistent profit.

brother, absolutely to me, I personally do consider that both uptrend and downtrend are equally profitable as i am using Hedging , i make profit by falling as well as rising market. But many times i have faced hardships in my trading due to false reversal of the trend. I think sideways trending market is very good for scalpers.
