I dont use indicators often so i am really not right person to answer your question, but there are some good built in indicators in MT4 itself you can try those and find out which suit you most and use that in your trading. You can also look for third party indicators by googling.

There is no doubt in it that indicators helps a lot in trading and getting profit but you must have to practice and master them in demo account then apply them to real trading. You can find many indicators on internet I usually use Trend Indicators in which Advance Decline Line (ADL) and Stochastic RSI for Momentem indicator.

The best way is to choose help topics in your MT4 terminal and type the required indicator and learn them from reading and then practice them in Demo account. And i feel there is no such indicator which is good in terms making profit to you, you should practice few indicators on your own and choose the best suitable for your trading style.

Hello,

in the beginning i am using only the standard indicators that are integrated in mt4 platform. And the best what i have found there from the standards are the cci (commodity channel indicator). It�s being fast and it will when you traden in the higher timeframes be accurate enough to have not so much false signals.

There is no best and worst in Indicators. If you like any indicators, then use it in the chart. But, there is no use of it. Its just shows the past movements and you are supposed to make analysis with this. Its easy and better to analyze without indicators. If you are very beginner, then use one or two indicators to see the abstract movement.

All indicators are good, depend on the function of that indicator and the trader. In my opinion, indicator would work best if the trader know how to use it, so, even a best indicator, it won't work with the trader who did't know how to use it.

For me,I usuallt think that the simplest indicators caann help us more during our trading.Now I just suggest the indicators that I am using at present.I use three indicators,which you can all find in your MT4 platform.
1.RSI.
2.Stoch.
3.MACD.
if more,I wish you can add some moving everage there.

As I know, trendline is not indicator but it's tools from metatrader to draw tendency of trend. And I suggested to use more
than one tools, so it's not good if you use trendline only as your consideration. You should use time frame, pattern in candlestick,
and indicators to help making decision. It is possible to be added with fundamental analysis about news which will appear.

If i am asked to tell a beginner forex trader the indicators to use, i would advice them to use the CCI and the stochastic. They both are good and easy to apply while we are trading forex as newbies.

All indicator good for beginner trader but depend on strategy that beginner trader learn. I advise of trader to use Moving Average Bollinger Band and RSI for detect of trend and confirming of entry into market.

I use the moving average idnikator in my trade and I think this will help me to do analsia and not only that but also I added a miraculous performance indicators to assist the moving average indicator for the more perfect the BB

for beginner MA,RSI and ADX is perfect. Moving Average is for trend direction,RSI for identify overbought and oversold and ADX for trend strength ,this three indicator easy to understand and apply

for beginner you can use ma 200 and CCI 50 indicator in the time frame h1. because the reading very easy. if the price is above the ma, and CCI above the zero line, then trend up, and vice versa. for the entry you can use the tf M15 using the same indicators. I hope my suggestions are useful.

l think moving averages and MACD is good combination but you have to take note that they will not work always.what l have discovered lately is they will work in some times in the day.like after opening of London session they will work mostly since a new move will start in most case.you have to watch very closely and take note everyday.so that you will know when to follow and when to ignore the signals.

Are there indicators made specifically for the trading style. Like for scalpers the best suited indicator is etc. For me chart itself is the greatest indicator. My trades are entirely depended on the charts of different time interval. I use them to detect the trend and trade in that direction. Trading consumes most of my time. I take too much of time to analyse and i dont keep a stop loss point. So i need to closely watch each movements in the market myself.

Yes, it's better to start learning from default indicators in mt4 because all of them are good indicators when you can
use them in the right time. As I know, many traders who started to learn from Moving Average indicator in the first time

just watch the bands in your charts. if the charts squeeze the candlesticks then it means the market is being calm, but contrarily if the bands expand away from the candlesticks it mean that the market start become volatile, you should cross check with the news released.

I think for beginners is the indicator moving average. we do not need teralalu many indicators, because it would create more confusion. There are many types of moving averages. I just use the MA to help me during the trading tools. namely, Sidus trading strategy. for the setting, you can search through the internet.
