Indicators a beginner should first try out is the moving averages. I will advise they try moving averages 5 and 15EMA, they are very essential and will help the newbie to know when a trend setup is unfolding. I am a forex coach and i know why I said so. I am also a beginnner at forex but I USE The following INdicators

1. RSI - Relative strength index - This indicator shows whether A currency is Over sold or Over Bought.
RSI is a common indicator in Oscillator family. It shows graph between 0-100 And it has levels 30 and 70. 30 shows over sold and you can buy at that position but you can add 15 to your rsi So as for good confirmation. And For overbought condition add 85 in your rsi. Then if your price is moved to 85 level then it is signal to sell.

2. Moving Average - Moving average is a good indicator to show Trend. We can simply use simple moving average and exponential moving average to find the trend.

3. Fibonacci Support and Resistance- Support and resistance is very important in FOREX trading. This Fibonacci is used to find support and resistance. If we simply recognize the support and resistance we could simply make some good pips in favor.
