How many Pairs and Strategies Do you follow?

Hey all of my friend I want to ask all of you that How many Pairs and Strategies Do you follow?
I personally follow eur/usd and gbp /usd. and i am concentrate in this two pair only. and i trade most of time short like 15 m chart and h1 chart. :yahoo:
Now a days i dont have enough money to trade long. i am follow strategy but not yet successful most of time because i am still learning. but some time I use rsi and stoch indicator. this indicator give me good signal to trade. :good:

yeah trading with one pair make us focus than use multiple pairs. my maximal pairs to trading is two pairs at same time.

I use only eur/usd pair only, this is suitable for all. I concetrate on my own strategies, i plan day by day. So, there are lot of strategies used in trades. Mostly i use h1 chart, and h4 for analyze. I use only zigzag , zmr irnidicators only.

not too many are couples who pay attention because you focus only 2 or 3 pairs currancy so you can still focus on the 2 or 3 couples

I follow two or three pairs at one time and trade only one pair at one time. I follow the strategies of support and Resistance trend lines, patterns, and Moving averages along some indicators. I also use economic calendar to follow the news and releases.

I think its become more easy for you when there is usd each pairs and think its become easy when you analysis and for this i think if we trade many pairs then it better if there is same base or contrary pair then it become some easy to analysis and fundamental also.

I think minimum 1hour ka chart to dekhna hi chahiye trading ke liye..
isse neeche ke chart ke hisab se trade karna useless hota hai
iske alawa kafi techncial indicators hote hai jaise ki rsi, macd etc..inke hisab se bhi trading karni chahaiye

those pair has more volatility their movements are more than any other pairs..if u want to do short term trading then this will helpful..and also helpfull for the beginners..to learn more..

I usually trade with EUR/USD and GBP/USD, i think two or 3 pairs are enough to make good amount of profit if you are a good trader. If you will trade with more than 3 pairs then you will not concentrate fully and you will miss several chance to get good pips.

Yes, newbies can also try some interelated pairs for the analyze side. I follow 6 pairs for analyze the trend. 70% of predictions were correct in this analyze. I may post my results in this forum soon.

in my opinion for good learning its better to concentrate on not more than 3 currency pairs. Too many cooks spoil the broth we all know. So instead of focusing on many pairs it will be very good if the concentration is given on three or two currencies only. It will not only reduce anxiety and overwork of your brain but will be very beneficial in gaining good experience

you have chosen real good pairs. i will say that out of them eur/usd has a lot of movement and usd/jpy is a bit easy to pull some profit's coz i also stick to them. and yeah sl is the very most important thing to stay safe and play smart.

I think both the currency pair you are trading it already has particularly good chance you have the time let alone trade in Europe and America coming session of the pair is to have good movement and great for the session tiu

I am trading with just EUR/USD pair now. I am not a big player of the forex. I am still newbie so I am just trading with one currency pair. Later when I will have full confidence about my knowledge, skills then I will go for more pairs. And about the strategies, I first analyze the trends, and only being based upon the result, I make plans and strategies to trade with.

It is good to watch two or more pairs at one time to catch the good opportunities. But is not advisable to trade more than one pair at one time it will create problems for you.

Volatile pairs can bring in much pips within short time but the downside is that if we get on the wrong side they give no time for correction

I follow 3 - 4 currency pairs like USD / JPY , EUR / USD , USD / CHF , GBP / USD and do my analysis in all of them and trade in them.Although my strategy is the same and i use a common strategy while trading and use few guidelines like control of emotions and put Stop Loss and take profit at times to all my trades.

You carry out your analysis on each chart seperately and set your pending orders with their respective take profits trailing stops and stop loss.

well its depend on type of trader...short term trader may be dont like this..but till my test i find its accurat working in good way..
there is no need to hug profit for 0.01 lot size but time is little bit more..may be 4 days some time may be one week.

focusing on one pair is very good but if you have ability to learn quickly then you should try to focus on mutipairs, they will be more beneficial for you to trade better and you can adjust your trades according to the situations of other pairs.

Trading in multiple pairs reduces or spread your risks and enhances your ability to make profits at the end but it is always better to focus and master in one pair first and then when it is done one can shift focus to other pairs and then trade in them.

i agree with you silver is good pair for trading. in silver we can trade without puting stoploss if we have enough margin in our account.
For metal trading i have different account still i trade only with silver. its give good returns.
gold is also good but for gold trading need a large margin.
i just trade on base MACD indicator or with the help of trend lines.

You do not have to open positions in several pairs and trade in them at the same time.This will only confuse you more and lead to losses. Try and focus on one or two pairs and trade in them and do not open many positions at the same time.

Trading in multiple pairs does give a trader little more opportunity to make profits but provided proper analysis are there in each pair and if a trader is good in one pair and masters it and has done accurate prediction he will still make profits by trading in one pair.
