usd zar is already under strong bearish trend and it's falling since Market open and now currently Trading around 13.8803and on 1day time frame all indectors already showing strong bearish trend so selling is really good options here for intra day.

Moving away from the Pound in the late 50's to early 60's, the Rand was established and is the current legal tender for South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho and Namibia. The Rand has had its fair share of volatility with the currency depreciating massively following the apartheid era sanctions. The currency looks to benefit when investors are willing to take on more risk in developing countries. Any pullback in risk from global markets pushes the Rand significantly lower as seen during the financial crisis of 2008.

The Reserve Bank Tuesday said it has raised $ 5 billion through the second tranche of the forex swap auctions, which saw an increased response--nearly over three-times the offer of $ 5 billion at $ 18.65 billion--from banks compared to the maiden auctions on held on March 26.
The central bank introduced the tool, wherein it buys dollars from banks for three years and offer them rupees in return, last month to bridge the liquidity gap.

the us dollar pulled back initially during trading on tuesday but turned around of form a nicelooking hammer we have been grinding higher for some time which makes sense considering that the world is a bit concerned about global growth which of course favors the us dollar over emerging market currencies in fact the south african rand has struggled even though gold has taken off to the upside which perhaps has something to do with fear more than gold markets because as most of you will know south africa is a huge exporter of the yellow metal
however the political situation in south africa isnt exactly stable and that has been expressed in this chart you can see that i have a grid laid out in equal distance something that this pair tends to follow quite well we have recently pulled back from the 1450 rand level only to find buyers again i think at this point we are trying to build up the necessary momentum to break out and reach towards 15 rand

The Rand has had its fair share of volatility with the currency depreciating massively following the apartheid era sanctions. The currency looks to benefit when investors are willing to take on more risk in developing countries. Any pullback in risk from global markets pushes the Rand significantly lower as seen during the financial crisis of 2008.
