There is no limit on initial amount in gold trading , you can trade even if you have 20$ in your account, I think that 20$ must be minimum in trading gold, not less than 20$ dollars but you have to consider one point that you should have big capital in your account to trade gold as you know that you have to hold the position for trading gold and with 20$ you are not able to hold position for long

Gold market is very volatile, so we will need more margin to traded gold. We really need more money, and i think the initial amount for gold trade is $1000 if we trade with instaforex. but if we trade with other broker, i think we will need more capital, because their contract size will be larger and their leverage will be smaller
