What should be initial amount for Gold trade?

If trader want to trade now then they need 12.73$ for 0.01 lot to enter the trade. But i think trader should not trade gold with that much low balance because trader cant do their money management properly. In forex market money management is the key for success so trader should learn and use it properly.
