Confidence is important for a trader but i think knowledge is much more important then the confidence.But you also keep in mind that confidence will only come with the knowledge.If a trader had a knowledge and experience then he will gain the confidence by himself.

my dear both are very important we can not chose just one think because knowledge k bina confidence beqaar hai aur confidence k bina knowledge kisi kaam ki nahi hai so in my opinion both are very important in forex.
