Most people are not full-time traders. Part-time trading is perfectly acceptable. Just realize that it will likely take you longer to develop your skills and knowledge.
By full time do you mean staring at the screen? Thats not good for anyone. If full time you mean trying to secure investment, trade, read up on news and new strategy, look after your health and finances then sure it can be.

It depends You should have serious knowledge in trading to allow yourself not to work anywhere else. You might work 8 hours a day and yet lose a lot of money, so you really have to know what you�re doing. I don�t want to tell you what to do, but here is what �I��d do. First, ask yourself if you�re passionate enough to learn everything about Forex trading. If you want to be a full-time trader, you�ll bump into lots of obstacles on your way. Grit your teeth and keep going. Nothing is impossible. If you�re tough enough you can achieve anything. You can be a full-time Forex trader, but you could be anything else as well. Just ask yourself deep down what you truly want. Despite your choice it will be a long road.

Gold markets rallied significantly during the week, breaking above the $1300 level. We had also clear the top of the hammer from the previous week, so now I believe we will continue the upward momentum and reach towards the $1325 level over the next couple of weeks. Dips will more than likely be looked at as value propositions.

The US dollar fell a bit during the week, but continues to hang about the 1.25 level. I think that although oil markets are starting to rally, the upside for those markets is somewhat limited, and it looks as if we can break above the top of the previous weeks range, we could go to the 1.28 level, then perhaps the 1.30 level after that. If we break down below the bottom of the week, and more specifically the 1.24 handle, then we go looking towards 1.21.
