    शुक्रवार को, ब्रिटिश पाउंड 80 पिप्स से ज़्यादा गिरकर दैनिक संतुलन रेखा और 1.3510 के प्रमुख संकेत स्तर से नीचे आ गया। यह गिरावट कमज़ोर जीडीपी और औद्योगिक उत्पादन के आंकड़ों के कारण हुई। मई के जीडीपी अनुमान में -0.1% की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई, जबकि अनुमान +0.1% था, और वार्षिक जीडीपी वृद्धि 1.1% से घटकर 0.7% रह गई। मई में औद्योगिक उत्पादन में 0.9% की गिरावट आई।



    अगस्त में ब्याज दरों में कटौती को लेकर बाजार की धारणा मज़बूत हुई है। मार्लिन ऑसिलेटर डाउनट्रेंड ज़ोन में लगातार गिर रहा है। 1.3369 (23 जून का निचला स्तर) पर लक्ष्य समर्थन अब खुला है। अगर इस स्तर से कोई सुधार नहीं होता है, तो गिरावट 1.3139-1.3200 के लक्ष्य दायरे की ओर जारी रह सकती है।
