let me tell you friend forex trading strategy is must and its always necessary to us to make a good amount of profit while doing trading and A good trading plan gives a good profit.

Trading Strategy just tell you when to enter and exit trades while trading plan is more comprehensive and includes trading strategy. A trading plan may include market to trade, time frame, strategy used, entry and exit rules of strategy and money management and risk managent rules.
And so we need a comprehensive plan for trading and not mere a strategy.

Everything or every work needs some experience to become good in that profession. So, if you think in a short period of time, you can become a good trader then it would be little unrealsitic. However, in 5-6 months time you can be a good trader but for that you should have your basics clear.

I think both cannot be faced against each other my friend, since Trading strategy is a part of a Trading Plan. For your information, a trading plan is a plan that you make with the consideration of the best strategy, best management, and a target. So, that's why if you don't actually have any strategy in your plan, it means you plan is incomplete.

trading strategy and trading plan has the some differences. besically both are same but trading plan provides strong supports for profit and the strategy is same but has some narrowness than trading plan. both plays a vital role in the trading market. trading plan is better than trading strategy. above all trading strategy+something else =trading plan.
