it depend on you capital the low capital always use minimum volume and big investment you should take big volume for trade but if you trade short time otherwise no use big volume the expert advice always use small lot always

It depends on how much amount is in your account.If you have 100$ in your account then in my opinion the maximum safest lot size is equals .5 $ pip value.This can be different in broker to broker.If you are trading with instaforex then you can trade with .5 lot no more than that.If you want to trade more safely then decrease the lot.You can use leverage as much as you want.Higher the leverage lower the value of margin.
