i think the use of the lot size depend on the amount of money present in your trading account.If you have some big amount of money you can use the higer lot size and if you have small then always use the smaller lot size

it depnds upon your trade set up some time we find a trade with 99% sur that price will go in our favour . this time we can increase our risk we can take 5% risk of our account at this time bt when we are sure abot trade only 60% then we should take risk of our acount only 2% in this trade

I think 100$ is the best value forttrading,I think we should not take risk unless we have not enough money.I think if you become a expert in forex trading you could understand this matter and newbies should not take risk without proper mofney and proper knowledge about forex.

for me, the best value lot to open trading position is 5% of the equity. and that too is done by simply opening a trading position. so you still have a lot of margin for the rest of your defense. but should any open trading position, use strategies that you have shown yourself for accuracy. and make the plan more clear and detailed, so as to allow you to perform such trading activity.

I also think It is depends on the capital every trader have different capital and equity so i think the lot size used is various and I believe if you have balance 1000$ you can trade safe with 1 lot and i believe it is good.

My strategy in choosing lot is very simple, my lot always depend on my capital for example when my capital grow i Increase my lot and when it down i decrease the lot. My mothed goes like this :
less than 50 dollars 0.03 $ and 0.02 $
more than 50 dollars i use 0.05 $
more than 100 dollars i use 0.5 $
and finely, over the 500 dollars i start to use 1 $
