I am also trading in a mini account with $1000. At the moment I am using 0.02 to trade like you. Max risk is 1% per trade. So the dollar amnt is $10 per trade. If you trade with 0.02 lots, then the max stop loss is 50pips. If you trade in 1Hr - 15 Min charts 50 pips SL is a good move. But if you trade 4Hr to Daily Time frames probably you should use 100 pips stop loss with 0.01 lots. So the risk will be the same 1%. Try to maintain minimum 1:2 R/R ratio per trade.

The lot size and the leverage both are well determined by the account size, if your account size is large then you are a little bit justified to use a big leverage and lot size while trading and vise versa, risking too much o the other hand should not be the case, you should only risk like 20-30% of your account at any one time, more than this is way too risky and it can prove fatal for your account.

Brother forex main lot size ap k capital k uper depend karta hai agar ap k pas acha capital hai to ap heavy lot size use karty han agar 1000$ ka capital hai to ap 0.10 ka lot size use kar sakty aur agar is se kam hai to kam use karen. Dear mere khayal se lot size lagane se phele ap bus ap apni phele money ko note karien phr os ko calculations karien agar ap ke pass 100$ hai to os ki hisaab se ap 0.01 ya 0.02 ki lot size se trading karien jis se apka account save b rahe ga aur loss b kaam ho ga aur profit b little acha ho ga jis se apko koi masla ni bane ga. Forex trading ke liye sahi sahi lots size kya honi chahiye ye humare capital par depend karta hai, humen apne capital ke only 5% risk lekar hi trading karani chahiye, demo account par trading ki practice ki jaaye to humen apne account ko manage karne aa jata hai.
