It depends on what capital you are trading and normally to my money management rules i trade 1 lot for every $1000 in my account and if i have $3000 then I will trade 3 lots i.e for every lot you trade you should have 1000 pips in your account to protect the margin and a stoploss of 25 pips thus when you trade you will risk only 2.5% in your every trade...

lot size in forex depend karta hy aap kay capital py agar aap ka capital 100 hay too aap 0.05 say zayada currency main apna lot size ni rakhna or eesi ration say apna lot size barhana hay jub capital baray.

The best lot size per trade depends on size of our trading capital.We must never invest more than 1% of our trading capital in any trade.Suppose if we have 100$ in our account then we can invest 0.50$-1$ per trade.I follow this rule always.
