What I do is when the close price cut the upper Bolinger band I sell & when the close cut the lower Bolinger band I buy. I keep the Take profit as the middle Bolinger band.

You're right, the actual core of the valid signal of a Bollinger band is seen from bentunya, when the market is uptend caldnle the tendency will always be above the midle of the band, and vice versa, would be valid if the signal reversal candle capable of crossing the midle of the band, especially if used on a large timeframe, the signal from the Bollinger bands can be used as a long-term analysis

Bollinger bands is a great indicator in forex. I used it once as the core part of my strategy but now i use it to identify the trend. When price is above the middle bollinger bands line i take it to be that price is uptrend and vice versa. The core of my strategy is now trend line and bollinger bands is used to gauge the trend.
