EUR/USD has finished the ascending impulse from 1.0891. Possibly, today the pair may correct from 1.0924 to 1.0907, thus forming a new consolidation range between these two levels. If later the price breaks this range to the upside, the market may form one more ascending structure with the first target at 1.0955; if to the downside – start another decline to return to 1.0891.

USD/CHF - 0.9757.. Dlr traded with a firm bias n gained to 0.9787 in Asia y'day n despite retreating to 0.9766 in Europe, the pair ratcheted higher to a 6-week high of 0.9788 at NY open on rise in U.S. yields b4 retreating to 0.9751.

On the bigger picture, dlr's early rally fm 2018 31-month trough of 0.91 88 in mid-Feb to a 2-year peak at 1.0238 in Apr last year confirms the downtrend fm 2016 6-year peak at 1.0344 has made a low there. Having said that, subsequent decline to 0.9660 (Aug) last year suggests 1st leg of correction fm 0.9188 has ended. Despite early fall to a fresh 15-month 0.9614 bottom in mid-Jan after staging a rebound to 0.9767, dlr's retreat to 0.9630 n subsequent rise abv 0.9767 last week (Fri) signals choppy trading abv 0.9614 would continue, abv 0.9832/40 would yield stronger retracement of said erratic decline twd 0.9917. On the down- side, only below 0.9679 risks weakness to 0.9630, then re-test of 0.9614.

Today, as Tue's high at 0.9788 was accompanied by 'bearish divergences' on hourly indicators, subsequent fall to 0.9751 signals temp. top is made n would head back to 0.9732/33 b4 one more rise, reckon 0.9832/40 should hold fm here. Below 0.9704 anytime signals correction fm 0.9614 over n risks 0.9679 next week.
