No doubt high leverage give the high profit but also huge loss too. Excessive leverage is cause the reason of loss as there are large number of newbies are failing due to this, they set the high leverage and lost their whole capital, they set the high leverage due to ignorance.
I must say that all the newbies should set the low leverage as small leverage is better and they can earn good amount, so all the newbies should avoid this mistake in order to get the fruitful results.

Yes i think that excessive leverage is important too for newbies because they are trading with very small capital and they need the leverage to trade freely with small margin, so we should only be careful with it and manage our money well

There is nothing wrong with excessive leverage of 1 : 2000 If it is an expert trader that uses it. It is actually the Newbies in Forex that dont understand Leverage and thus it creates a disadvantage to them when they use it.
