that's exactly what happened to me , i started with a competion with fxdd , i didn't win but i learned so much things from the traders theirs , i learned their trades and conditions and what they wait for a good entry , it was awesome.

I feel that forex is not about competition but about yourself, when you enter the competition your trading style and psychology will be changed, and it will have a negative impact on a live account you have, so in my opinion do not let you fall to enter the competition, may be alone, but if you can try to stay within your trading plan when you enter the competition

Yes Forex maybe for ourselves, But a competition/contest even helps a Forex trader to actually grow up in confidence and experience. It all add u[ positively for a Forex trader at the end of the day,
