well dear, absolutelly I can say that we all need to participate in demo contest and it is good for us because we can learn the forex trading and we can develop our trading skill, we know that there are certain rules in demo competition and it can make us disciplined.

well dear I clearly think there is no double that we need to participate in competitions and if we can do better at competitions then we can increase our confidence and we can do better in real accounts and if we can develop our trading skill then we can make good money.

The competition oftenly make someone trader better because they have a target and didn't fear to losing money since many contest use virtual money. But i think that is not give any high impact. I too never win in any contest and that is sometimes make trader more unconfident even the skill improve very well.

I think the competition will have an impact, because the competition I think more of a demo account. often we can not seriously practice in a demo account as such there was no goal. whereas in the demo contest, there is a clear goal that we want to win. so in practice will be more serious.

well my dear, for me clearly I also do believe that competition is a time where most of the trader try his level best.And if a trader can win competition he is become very happy and confidence. Because competition winner means good trader from thos competer.Totally i think participation in competitions makes ours trader very confidence.

Hi newentry, yes you are right, we can judge our performance with others, i admit most of the traders that win those contests are good, but few also uses some manipulation techniques and some ea's that won't work on real account. So, don't think that you lost the competition but look out the overall gain of your account and drawdown you attained etc., even the top three traders at the contest i posted link of, accepted that they are using some ea's that don't work on live accounts, when i contacted them. thanks

yes dear, to me I personally do consider that participating in the forex forum can be very beneficial as you trade it like live market cause if you win you get the prize in real so contest trading is always better and one step above than a normal demo trading.

Yes you right and we all know that we can join in different competition and and we can do trading at their and it is more better than trade at demo accounts and we can learn many things at competitions and we can get success in trading too.

yes i already participate into several competition held by instaforex and there is not success form my side .actually Forex competition is really hard to win and i have no hope of win but i try sometimes so that i am checking my performance .yes it's a good thing and it can increase our confidence in trading also .
