Yes if your target is 30-50 pips then it's enough for 1000$ capital. Risk 5% is also ok. But if you want to earn 30-50 pips in one single trade then it's not ok. Open position with 99% for only 10-15 pips or 5 pips with medium size lot. Is it possible to earn 120$ per day? Isn't it si much high? in a month 22 day is trading day and if per day earning is 120 then 120*22=2640$ OMG. It's tough bro in one month you want to make your capital double.
