Moving Average Cross Confusion

try to change the moving average values and play with different moving average values like 5,8 or 10,20, than scroll back the chart and see which cross provide results according to you, i mean better and faster results with more accuracy, or lower your timeframe to 15 min. it would be better if you test other crosses on h1 as it is a good chart for moving averages its good strategy to trade

I have experienced the moving averages for one or two times but I have not obtained any good results out of it. I use moving averages as support and resistance lines. especially if used in large timeframe, the moving average will work fine.

I find that you can use moving average with 3 different properties. 50, 100, 200, The first one is the first resistance, then the second resistance, and then the third resistance. Sometimes first resistance can be broken, that is when you wait. after some time you can trade on opposite direction. This is how if the 3rd resistance is broken, you must waitting for as a longers as a periodes as then find out what the trend is with the direction of the markets !

Yeah! That's problem brother, this is called correct entry point. The moving average crosses the MA and then market become volatile and it moves very fast. You should also move very fast and prepare for it already if you want to ride on the trend to enjoy.

I find that When a trader use moving average, it shows different as a result in the different times frames as a because different time frame changes trend patterned as and lines as a result the moving average also give different result. It is not confusing matter it is very simple and easy matters !

yes of course I think moving average is a kind of a good strategy but in order for this strategy to work you need to use on small time frames like the fifteen minutes frame , but also one of the drawdowns of this strategy is that some times it gives a lot of false signals , especially in small time frames, so i prefer that you use the moving average strategy on big time frames .
