This is a very good practice but it is basically not for scalping when you day trade, you move your sl to break even or what i elevate is a at younger profit,this way if your relation move and you are not managing that at that time, you will not get into losses, instead you will get out on break even or with some profit.

If we already make more than 20 pips as our profit, we can move our stop loss in +1, or in profit zone. We can place our stop loss in break even, but i prefer to place my stop loss in +1 then i still can make 1 pips if the price hit the stop loss
