Mving stop loss to break even or in the profit zone??

dear bro, personally I do believe its a technique and we should learn that phase of trading and for me whenever we got a part of swing trading profit then we must book half of the profit and if momentum is strong and carry forward to the day extremes then we should cover 80% of the profit and carry the trade with risk rest or part of the profit to fetch more or may double of what we risk..

dear bro, strongly I believe its true that if you are in a fix and you want out of it, I will just tell you to make your take profit the same with the price from where you entered the trade. This will help you to break even. You did not lose neither will you gain.

i don't have any idea so read fewer of the replies of the traders but i didn't get much about ... all i concluded is that yes you can move the stop loss to the profit zone too and then you will make profit from your trades and using tsl will make it more convenient to you ..

I never do it anymore,i dont move my stop loss to break even nor in the profit zone. I think if i do that, i can reduce my loss, but at the same time, i will reduce my profit also. So i think i dont need to move my stop loss anymore, as long as my profit is larger than my losses then it is not a problem i dont move my stop loss at all

jab bhi apka koi trade profot mai chala jaye tho profit lock karte jana chahiye other wise kishi bhi time pe market mai aaye change apko loss ho sakta hai that ye locking sahi hai.

would be better if we move the stop loss in areas that already gives us an advantage. with it we will not have to worry about when prices will turn around, and we can benefit even if we hit a stop loss.
