You should stick &believe together with your trading strategy in discipline manner if you do move your stop loss.the only real disadvantage is once we move our stoplosse we may miss a few bigger profit,,,other then if we can specialize in not to firmly loss l assume it's better to utilise trailing stop....

I also doing trade as long term basis and when open my position then also doing the market analysis properly and then take decision for buy or sell,after that also set the stop loss and take profit tools properly and when the market hit my stop loss or take profit then it's automatically closed.
