Mving stop loss to break even or in the profit zone??

actually its true that moving stop loss to break even is a strategy that is correct, I also put the same level of stop loss, some time to earn money, but also some of the time I lost because I get stop loss, but this isbusiness principles and I will follow it.

In forex trading, i do not like to move my stop loss after i have set it on an order,when i see that the market is not going on the loosing side for me what i can just do is that i will open another trade with a smaller lot size and close the trade that is in loss and leave the one that is in profit

if you get bored and want something to click on, trail your stop at half your open profit.

Example : when 20 pips in profit have stop at 10 pips, when 30 pips in profit move stop to 15 pips etc, it is a good feeling to be banking the pips but leaves room for a retracement to be covered and stay in the trade.

yes I actually think it is good average to avoid the losses, but most of the time you could not make benefit which can be obtained starting from these positions because the prices strike the back of your stop loss and go from before in your direction and you have just gained some pips of this good position.

i think you must put stop loss at its farthest possible point, but after moving the cursor in the direction of profit and are afraid to return to P loss can be altered to the point of purchase so as not to lose anything of any profit or return of capital.

It is depend to your strategy, if your strategy is not aggressive you can't changed any plan of your strategy at last minutes., or your trading plan can't work like usual as planned.

dear actually I consider moving stopl oss to break even is the wise thing to do but you should try to check minor drawdown that will not hit yout stoplose and and do another move on your favor because it will be a waste of your time at the same time you will lose pips on spread or losing most pips that suppos to be in your profit sides.

The first of all we cant move the stop loss to profit without actually having a larger profit than the stop loss. If you have a good its advicable to lock some profit. It is up to you to decide whether you need to change the stop loss.
