Mving stop loss to break even or in the profit zone??

I have always heard.Traders talk of moving their stops to break even. My question is shall we move the sl to the BE only or can we move it to the profit zone so that we can lock some profit. Which one is better??

I think it would be better we move our stop loss to the BE + 1
so we still make a profit if the price suddenly moves in the opposite
then we can move our stop losses to high / low nearby of entry that we make to maximize profit we get

yes moving stop loss can break profit zone but there is also trailing stop they will move automatically your stop loss when your order go at positive and trader not have to worry about prices when market move negative and trader can lock some profit

Stop loss ki trading me hame ho sakta hai ki profits mil jaye aur aisa bhi ho sakta hai ki hame apni trades me losses hone lage. Agar hame apni trades me loss ho raha hai tab ham apni trades ko is tarah se set kar sakte hain jis se hamare losses kam ho sake.

First of all i want to tell you that mein apni Forex trading stop loss set kye bna kerta hi nahi because mein ne stop loss use na kernay ki wajah se kafi loss bear kia hai. Secondly mere khial se yeh aik good strategy hai k jab hamari trade profit mein ja rahi ho tu hum apna stop loss Break even se thora upper hi set kerain taa k loss ki surat mein hamein kam se kam kuch tu profit ho.

in my opinion I think that I never move my stop loss when I use it. I always use stop loss in the profit zone or otherwise I won't use stop loss. I prefer using hedging than stop loss. I suggest, when you use stop loss, never move it. You must stick and believe with your trading strategy in discipline manner. ..................................

well bro actually I believe it is very important matter and it will be good to move stop loss in that location where we can get advantages. If we do it, then we will free from all kinds of worries that price rises or moving.
