I will tell you personally what i look at:
- Reduce lotsize at smallest one 0.01 for standard account (during the practicing period);
- TRade between frankfurt and london sesion;
- Look for egsosted candles with wicks;
- Avoid candles in mid valley look for toops (resistance) and bootoms (support) of previous day;
These is enought for start! good luck

You trade the level.

OK, time moves on and the trade doesn't trigger immediately, so technically we are now moving out of 1-2-3 territory and into HOLO. I would look for entries on that method.

Whether you leave that level in place available to trade as a 1-2-3 is entirely up to you. Personally, I do. Others don't. My reasoning is, I use 1-2-3 and HOLO on higher tf trades as well, so the levels can stay in place for a lot longer and are simply a line-in-the-sand. So this is simply an extension of that way of trading for me

Don't know if you have now left the thread - I suspect you have, going by your responses - I am working my way through the last few weeks I have been away. However your question may be of interest to others new to the method.

Specifically your confusion about Bar #2. You are trading price, not the candle. You do not need the Bar #2 to close. If it has not made a new H / L and price drops over the Trigger Level, then you enter.

Yes, price may then turn back and go on to indeed make a new H / L but that's the nature of the game. You don't win 'em all.

In order to learn something new, one sometimes has to leave the old behind. 1-2-3 rules do not mention chart formations. We wait for a new daily high or daily low to be formed and then move on to Step 2 and 3. Keep it simple.
