I do not open any trade even whole day long if there is no clear trend in the chart. Because any time market may volatile then my trade may goes to lose. I think in uncleared market trend should not open any trade; if open a trade it may lose my valuable time in trading with no profit or the trade may be a lost trade at any time.

when there is no clear trend then you can use one of the scalping strategies .so that you can just observe the market and try to collect gain in tiny amounts in momentaneous moving of the price. it works most of the time.
