In forex, how many pips does it take to double your money?

Like if the account is of 1000 dollars and the lot size of the trade open is 1 lot then it will require 1003 pips to earn a double of its account capital. I think it does not vary in pips target,it is depend on your lot size and your taking risk per trade,but it is risky to make a double balance in few pips with big lot size because market moves in very fast pattern and you may caught by this market and loose all of your balance in a sudden.
