Profit making target is good or bad?

I have heard from some of my friends that in forex market, having profit making target is very harmful and sometime it may cause to blow the trading account. But I am confused about it. Anybody please help me about this.

i think that it is not harmful but it is very profitable for all Forex traders Forex is very smart job for us if we set a target and work on this target for success then we can get use full experience and we can enjoy Forex trading market for earning

Making profit target is good as far as not put you in pressure. It is good if it just to motivate your self to trade with optimal or for evaluation purpose. When you make your target beyond your ability and you have more pressure to achieve it, you better not to target your profit, because it is gonna turn bad for you. So, whether it is good or bad will depend on the reason and purpose, also you have to consider your psychology as well.

i think forex is a good money making business. Yes, i support profit making target,its really moving on business going forward,it should be divided on some parts,daily,weekly,monthly & yearly,when it materialized,business trader will be profitable.best of luck..........................Thanks.............. ...........
