no stop loss is not at all mandatory but it is good if you use it in your trading. this helps your big losses. many big traders use it as a compulsory part of their trading.

Well stoploss definitely helps to protect our account in case our analysis is wrong. If you're constantly in front of the computer during trading, you can also manually cut your losses if you dont use the stoploss function of course

in my opinion a trader should use stop loss for their open position,it is will protect our capital from loosing too much when we had a floating loss,but it is not a mandatory too because there is several trading system that use no SL such as martingale,hedging or averaging system and still trader can get profit from those strategy even that it has a higher risk compared to the trader who use SL for their open position.
