i think it's depends on person's ability to learn forex.if he have firm knowledge about trading and deep interest in this work then he can learn it in a very short time.in my point of view every person should do practice on demo account until he gain confidence in trading. i think 2 to 3 hours practice on demo account is necessary for up to 3 weeks.
